Meet Brandon, the Founder & Principal Contractor—
Brandon is the owner and creator of Hammerdown, with a lifelong passion for construction. His journey began in high school in Albuquerque, where he discovered a love for working with his hands and crafting unique projects in cabinetry. Since then, he has remained dedicated to honing his carpentry skills and continuously evolving his craft.
He specializes in the intricate details of home remodeling and excels at tackling the challenges of adding onto existing structures. With a keen eye for perfection, he takes pride in bringing out the best in every project he undertakes. He knows first hand what excellence and quality look like from the time he spent working for & learning from Tim Rizek at Rizek Design & Remodeling.
In 2018, he relocated from Anchorage to Seattle to be with his wife, a native of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Together, they embrace the creativity and inspiration this vibrant region offers, raising their two daughters and little dog.
Karlin, Supporting the Build Behind the Scenes—
Karlin is Brandon’s wife and a steady presence behind the scenes at Hammerdown. In addition to caring for their daughters and managing their home, she remains actively involved in supporting the business wherever she’s needed.
Together, they share a passion for helping clients create beautiful, functional living spaces. They understand firsthand how important it is for a home to balance aesthetics with everyday practicality.
